Summary: Arang and the Magistrate Episode 6

This episode is pretty good, but still I am getting less interested in it. But Arang’s cuteness and Eun Oh’s hotness is what makes me keep holding on lol
Off to episode 6 we are

-it turns out that mom has been a soul-eater for so long that Joo Wal’s fake dad, Lord Choi, was once her hunter too

-dad says that Eun Oh’s mom will soon find a new hunter because of his failure to get Arang for her that night

-Eun Oh and Dol Swe find a trapdoor near the place where he found the hairpin in the last episode. The trapdoor is protected with a talisman but he manages to open it and find bones of dead girls.

-Eun Oh’s mom is alarmed by the discovery and rushes Joo Wal to the scene but it’s too late because Eun Oh has called police officers to the place

-the two Gods talk about the lost souls saying that souls have disappeared without trace since the past 400 years (because of Eun Oh’s mom soul-eating thing)

-The Jade emperor was the one who freed Arang’s red rope in the first place, if you are still wondering about it

-Eun Oh couldn’t find anything related to his mom in the sea of bones

-Eun Oh urges Arang to go to the place saying that she must have been killed there but she refuses because she is afraid

-Eun Oh’s mom orders Joo Wal to kill him (WTF?)

-Arang however goes back to the place where the hairpin was found alone and manages to retrieve her memory of pulling the hairpin out of a woman’s hair but she does not get to see the woman’s face

-Eun Oh looks for her, but Joo Wal is following him to kill him

-Arang then comes running towards Eun Oh and says that she says that she now knows that she pulled the hairpin out of a woman’s hair. Eun Oh: just that?

-Joo Wal changes to his noble garments and meets Arang just to confirm his suspicious of her being alive

-Arang then leaves with Eun Oh (he still does not recognize Joo Wal, wtf?!)

-the Bang Trio plans on burying Eun Oh alive because he has messed with their so normal lives before the discovery of the bones

-the episode ends with the King Of Hell, The Jade Emperor and the soul-hunter, Muyoung, staring at a glass ball waiting for something

Summary: Arang and the Magistrate Episode 5

This show is cute, but I am no longer that addicted with it, but I’ll keep watching it till I get tired of it. Now lets go to the brief summary.

-seeing Joo Wal helping Arang to et over the wall, Eun oh notices that Joo Wal does not recognize Arang
-Dol Swe is mad at Eun Oh because he refuses to leave town as he said he would earlier, and blames him for wasting his time with his new sweetheart (Arang)
-Eun Oh goes back to his room and there is Arang, sitting in her hanbok and not the officer uniform
-she feigns ignorance over her appearance at the funeral and he does not believe her
-Eun Oh checks her skirt to look for the hidden uniform but is shocked by the sight of Arang’s bare legs
-Eun Oh gets a slap from Arang. He calls her demon and she calls him bastard. Each other’s words hurt them both.
-Eun Oh feels hurt because she mentions about his mother while she gets hurt because he says that she is heartless even though she is a human
-Eun Oh stays at the mountainside for the night while Arang stays awake till morning in her room. eun Oh embarrassedly apologizes and they become friends again
-Eun Oh asks her about his mother hairpin and she says she does not have it because she came there naked
- they make a deal to work together in solving Arang’s death’s mystery and finding his mother
- Dol Swe accidentally meets with Bang Wool and they seems to like each other’s companion although not that close
-Arang sleeps in her bed and Joo Wal comes, dressed in black, and then stabs her (purposely to kill her) and brings her to a place somewhere in the woods as a sacrifice for a gisaeng whih turns out is Eun Oh’s mom
-but Arang is still alive so when Joo Wal goes to talk with Eun Oh’s mom, she flees away and thank God Eun Oh manages to find her (bleeding) and she faints at the sight of him
-Arang wound heals so fast that it surprises Eun Oh and since Arang sleeps in Eun Oh’s room, Dol Swe thinks that they slept together (Eun Oh does not deny it)
-Eun Oh’s mother feels mad at Joo Wal for losing Arang. Turns out his ring alarms him of a pure soul and it is given by Eun Oh’s mother to him as an exchange of a life he wants. In returns he’ll have to bring a soul for her every full moon so she can eat it
-Eun Oh goes to the place where Arang was brought by Joo Wal earlier and is shocked to find his mother’s hairpin there

Summary: Arang and The Magistrate Episode 4

Eun Oh looks for Arang but fails. He stumbles across Bang Wool who’s running through the woods. He asks her about Arang and she tells him that Arang has gone to the afterlife for good. (he calls Arang Amnesia). She tells him about her asking for an audience with the Jade Emperor and says that she won’t be safe for being that brazen.

Muyoung walks Arang through the forest. They talk a little bit and Arang finds out that he can die too (aka disappear since he’s dead). They arrive to a place where the reaper’s lantern falls to the ground and night turns to day in a split second. They are at the bank of the river of afterlife. She mentions that she didn’t say goodbye (obviously she means to poor Eun Oh). They take a boat and they get flowed to a waterfall. (well it’s not really a waterfall) Arang falls into the water, sinking deeper and deeper but then she floats in the air (it’s nicely wtf-ing)

Bang Wool explains that Arang will be punished because all ghost will get punishments for their sins, this is according to her book. Being the sweet Eun Oh he is, he asks her what he can do about it. Nothing.

That nigt Lord Choi’s men come to the magistrate residence to take Arang’s body but is stopped by the brave Dol Swe.

He’s almost hurt by a man when Eun Oh comes to his rescue. Eun Oh brings his dad’s name to the surface and the men scurry away. (his dad’s name is pretty powerful, although not as powerful as Joo Wal’s dad’s). Dol Swe feels relieved and hugs Eun Oh. (aww, he’s so cute. I’ll give you a hug too!).

The next morning, Eun Oh prepares a funeral for Seo Rim (aka Arang) to clear her name. He plans on leaving once the funeral is completed.

Lord Choi feels a little bit relieved when he heard of this. (he makes it seems like both him and his son have something to do with her death)

Two days passed and nobody has shown up to give a last respect to Arang except for her old servant. (OMG, it would have been heartbreaking if she sees it)

The next day, Eun-oh prepares to bury the body. But when he steps outside, she’s faced with Arang. (both his jaws and mine drop!). Dol Swe asks her if she’s there to pay her last respect. (He can see her!) This shocks Eun Oh (and me too!). Dol Swe leaves thinking that Arang is His master’s sweetheart.

Arang says that she’s now a person. He touches her to confirm it. (his shocked face is so damn cute!)
It turns out that Arang made a deal with both King of Underworld and jade Emperor to allow her to solve the mystery of her death in the form of a human being. If she can’t find the answer, Hades will take her to the deepest hell in three full moons time. she was given a bell to ring once she has succeeded.

Arang then is dropped from heaven to a river, naked. LOL. She swears at them for that. She then swipes some clothes from a nearby place. She asks a kid how she looks like to confirm that she can be seen. And she feels happy when the boy says that she’s pretty. Another thing is she can still see ghosts. (that’s cool!) she then meets Eun Oh.

Eun Oh asks her why she’s given such a special treatment (it seems like he’s doubting the story) and Arang says maybe it's because the Gods feel sorry for what happened to her.

Eun Oh then heads to the burial ground after telling her to stay put. (Hun, when is the last time she listened to you?). She ignores his order and heads to her old room. She makes faces in the mrirror to confirm that she’s now human

and then goes to the burial ground dressed as a male guard.

Joo Wal and Lord Choi exchange weird looks at the mention of tomorrow’s full moon. Lord Choi: "If you cannot find that girl by tomorrow, what will that person do? I’m sure he wouldn’t cast you away because of that one mistake. Don’t worry too much." (I’m getting sick of this cryptic old man and his secretive words!). Joo Wal asks him not to worry.

Lord Choi pretends to be nice to the poor citizens spoiled fruits and other stuff. Joo Wal doesn’t seem to be that supportive of this and asks him to go to Arang’s burial ceremony instead because it’ll do a better thing to his image.

Arang bumps into Joo Wal on while looking for the burial ground. His black ring turns into a red ring when he touches her. Arang then excuses herself and he runs after her. (there’s no sign that he notices  her as Seo Rim, and about Arang, I’m not sure -.-)

At the burial ground, Arang makes a fuss with one of the Bang Trio and causes herself to be chased by everyone.

The King of Underworld says that he wants to have the Jade Emperor young body if Arang fails, lol. The Jade Emperor keeps what he wants a secret from the King of Underworld (and all of us). they're playing badook, The King of Underworld wins the game, and it’s said that someone will die since he won. If King of Underworld wins, someone will die, if the Jade Emperor wins, someone will be born. (sounds kinda cool although it's completely ridiculous)

Somewhere in a small hut, a woman sits behind a veil. (IDK who the fuck she is but I guess it’s Eun Oh’s mom)

Both Eun Oh and Joo Wal run after Arang. Joo Wal manages to corner her in a dead end, and seeing that Eun Oh is about to catch up with them, she asks joo Wal to lift her so that she can jump over the fence. She’s afraid that Eun Oh will scold her for defying his order earlier. (It really annoys me that she seems to not know who Joo Wal is, wtf show?!) he helps her and she promises to repay the favor. He asks her whether she’s really an officer and she says yes.

Eun Oh manages to see her, but then he’s way too late as Arang succeeds in escaping. He sees Joo Wal and both of them exchange weird looks.

End of Episode 4.

I’m getting sick of this show. I don’t know whether I’ll stay with this series for a long time. It tires me that everyone is so secretive and Arang can be quiet annoying when she keeps on getting herself into troubles, and then burdening other with the troubles she caused. I don't know why but I don't like the Arang-is-now-a-human-being thing.

Summary: Arang and the Magiistrate Episode 3

Lol what a late recap. I have been so freaking busy this week looking after my sis’ lil daughter! Now that she has left, I need to help my mom with cleaning the house~

Now lets move to episode 3. To me this episode is pretty nice cause things are starting to float to the surface but I still cannot find anything that can draw me attached to it like The Princess’ Man did. Well whatsoever, I believe it’s going to get better soon. (I hope!)

Episode 3 starts with last week’s cliffhanger where Arang leans closer to Eun Oh for  a kiss?! Eun Oh is shocked by this, he closes his eyes but then it turns out that it is just his dream. (what a dream! Lol)

The next day, Eun Oh asks Dol Swe to deliver a letter to Joo Wal asking for a meeting.

Bad God reminds the Good God about the lost souls who need to be captured (it has been four hundred years since they were lost) and says that he will step in if he can’t solve the matter. (IDK wtf they’re talking about)

MEANWHILE, Bang Wool gives Arang clothes and make ups as offerings for her to wear when she meets Joo Wal. You know, since she’s embarrassed of meeting him in shabby clothes. She gets dressed but still have no idea how she looks like.

When Eun Oh sees her, he’s shocked to see how beautiful she is (well if you ask my opinion, I don’t think that she’s pretty, she’s just cute). When she asks him about how she looks like, he says that she’s just a lil bit less ugly than before. (boys are always mean like that!) he then goes to see Joo Wal, asking her to stay there till he comes for her.

Bang Wool asks her to leave her now since she has got what she wanted from her. Arang walks away feeling sad. (guess she feels hurt)

While on his way to meet Joo Wal, Eun Oh feels that Arang’s new outwear is really distracting and that he’s better with her being a scary ghost than being a pretty one. Lol. He mutters to himself that he’ll have to stick with her since she can cause lots of troubles with her amnesia. (I’m not convinced that it’s because of her amnesia that he wants to stay with her…) he heads back.

Arang plans something while heading to the town. She goes to an abandoned barn to get some herbs to make herself visible to solve the mysteries surrounding her. A few ghosts attack her at the barn because of her act of stealing their appeasement food sometimes earlier. she fights back because they are ruining her new clothes (yeah, just because of the hanbok!) but then she gets outnumbered as more ghosts come.

But then Eun Oh comes to the rescue with a bag of beans, the ghosts feel scared, till it's revealed that there's only one bean in it lol

The ghosts keep getting up even though he keeps on kicking them…hmmm that’s ANNOYING! Arang then warn them that they’re attracting reapers. But the ghost don’t care bout this and keep on attacking them. As they’re cornered, reapers come. All of them try to flee away.

Eun Oh takes Arang’s hand and they run as fast as they could and the (slow?!) reapers don’t manage to get them. When they stop, Arang gets moody that she cannot see Joo Wal in such torn clothes. Eun Oh feels annoyed. (I would’ve too!).

but then they get to the meeting place too (although soaked in rain). But Joo Wal is gone. He asks her to stay with him on Earth and not go to the afterlife (not in a direct way).

Arang then screams her heart out asking the Jade Emperor what she has done to get such a terrible life, but he just dismisses her.

It rains and a red ribbon floats to a surface.
Both Joo Wal and Eun Oh is told about the founding of a dead body. The body is uncovered from the ground due to the rain.

Eun Oh arrives first at the scene. It’s the former magistrate daughter, Arang. Everyone wonders why her face is preserved till that today. He looks at her body but cannot find his mother’s hairpin. (what?? I love mysteries lol). Yeah, she was stabbed with a knife and of course murdered.

He turns around and there she is. He tells her not to look but it’s way too late. She then runs till she reaches a field and she drops to her knees and cries. He tries to catch up with her but then stops as he sees Joo Wal at the scene.

Arang then runs all the way to the river, and  sobs on the ground.

Joo Wal looking kind of emotionless tries to take Arang’s body from the scene but Eun Oh stops it saying he has a right on it since he’s the magistrate. (I love the way he says it). Joo Wal asks about the meeting earlier and Eun Oh tells him it is because he has something to ask but it’s not that important right now.

Joo Wal argues with him about his right on the corpse since his dad wants him to take care of it quietly. Eun Oh asks him why he’s being like that, doesn’t he think that Arang’s name should be cleared? (from the rumours that she eloped with a guy). Eun Oh says that he understands how hurt he feels that his fiancĂ©e went missing for three years but is kind of shocked when Joo Wal says that he feels nothing. Joo Wal says that they aren’t that close with each other for him to feel hurt. Joo wal says he doesn’t care bout what he’ll do to the body but his dad might care.

Arang cries herself to sleep at the riverbank while Eun Oh wonders where she is. Dol Swe moves Arang’s body to a room and he asks his master on what to do with it. Eun Oh says he’ll ask. He means Arang, but Dol Swe mistakes it as Lord Choi.

That night, Arang goes to see her body. And in tears, she mutters that she’s pretty. She asks the body about what happened to her. And she ends with saying ‘wait, I’ll find out for you’.

She screams at the sky asking the Jade Emperor about what happened to her. She starts with screaming and ends with pleading. The jade emperor is shocked by this.

The Bad God then says that he’ll take care of Arang and punish her accordingly but the Good God says that he’ll grant her the wish because she promises to come quietly if he tells her.

Arang goes to see Bang Wool’s help again. We’re not told what Arang wants. The next thing we know, both of them are at a spooky place.

Eun Oh can’t wait for Arang anymore, so he heads out to look for Arang. (aww he’s so sweet!)

Joo Wal stares at the moon as if he wants to swallow it (lol this is from my view!). dad scolds him for not being able to take care of even one thing. And then he mentions that Joo Wal is wearing the form well but still people can differentiate between  a fake and a real.(honestly the old man always sounds crazy to me with his stupid metaphors!)

Back to the spooky place, there’s a hidden wall there with a pattern ( a pattern all the dead shares, the one they have on their necks) Bang Wool asks what they are trying to catch but Arang doesn’t answer (what a way to leave me wondering!) She blows on Bang Wool’s face and she screams. Arang apologizes to her and wonders if that’s enough for them to come. (I guess it’s the reapers she’s referring to). She tells bang Wool that she have decided to go to the afterlife. (WHAT????)  Bang Wool feels bittersweet over this news.
Muyoung then appers behind her and asks whether she’s ready to return, she says yes but she wants to meet The Jade Emperor first. She wants to ask him something.

Up in so called heaven, the game isn’t going well. . the Jade Emperor then wins the game but the King of Underworld asks him (pleadingly) to take back the last move and for it, the Jade Emperor asks him to do something. Turns out it’s an order to ask Muyoung to agree with Arang’s request.

Arang then asks Bang Wool to stop so they’re freed.

And my pretty Eun Oh is nervously searching for Arang (OmG, he’s pretty and pitiful right now!)
But Mu-young is leading her through the woods to take her to the afterlife. (WHAT A CLIFFHANGER!)

End of Episode 3
